I am really happy with a really small hack with respect to CFA, I unfortunately cannot talk much about it here.
I am really impressed with myself. I may blog about it elsewhere.

Using the CFA curriculum ebook
I ordered for the CFA online course material ebook (provided by VitalSource) while I registered for CFA Level 3.
I personally prefer to use the hard copy books for reading, and making my notes since it provides a visual sense of completing a reading. The main advantage of the ebook (and the reason that I got it) was that I can refer to all the reading material from any PC that I has an internet connection, and I can also search for terms across all the volumes - this I feel is quite useful, since many times (during Level 1 and Level 2 readings) while reading through a topic I feel that I have already read about related area in a different volume, I think the search facility is going to be really helpful here.

Failing Core Spring Certification
Finally attempted the Core Spring Certification today morning 09:30am, and in about 1hr 20mins time I failed.
I was really shocked since I really prepared for this exam and while I was answering the questions I knew that I didn't know all the answers but then I never expected to fail. I needed 80% or more to pass and I got 72%. I guess I correctly answered 36 out of the 50 questions.
My immediate reaction was to give the exam again but then thinking about what Sai (my ex manager) said, that I already have loads of technical certifications and getting one more technical certification isnt going help much. I feel that if I do give the exam gain it will be purely for getting the certificate and less about learning anything new. But then on the other hand I just cant give up on this certification since I failed.
In either case (if I want to attempt it again or not) I have a 30 day lock in period during which I cannot attempt the exam again. May be attempting the exam again isnt that good, since I will be spending the CFA L3 perpetration time on this certification.
